Breeder/Owner: Christine Ward-Weber "Ben" believed that blue ribbons were best. He was my only all-age dog, with one gun dog win. A big bold dog, although not tall. His field wins were all firsts, with no seconds, thirds or fourths in adult stakes. He finished his show title with the same exuberance, with three majors while trailing on the some of the same weekends. He was finished at 18 months. He had a great temperament and was a hardy, fun fellow. He has been one of my best producers, leaving his footprint in my heart and in my dogs. His field wins were under the whistles of John, Nickence for his puppy & derby points, Marc Appleton for his 5 point All age win and finished in the field with a Gun Dog first by Bunny Green with a 4 point Gun Dog win. "Ben" was laid to rest at 13 years old. I am currently campaigning his daughter "Tula".
