Bones:
Nyla bones, Knuckle bone & rawhide chews (USA made only), remove when dog will be unattended.
Shots & Check Ups:
One puppy shot has been given to your puppy, a DHPL & Parvo, three more sets of shots should be given in one month increments. Rabies should be given after 4 months, schedule this vaccination on a day when you will be available in case of reaction. Take a stool sample into your vet with you first visit, if your puppy has worms, we will pay for your medication. Your puppy has been wormed before leaving and should be worm free.
Heart worm:
Heart worming is essential in most parts of the country, we recommend the once a month variety. Toe nails should be cut weekly.
Helpful hints on housebreaking:
Let your puppy out as soon as it wakes from a nap, after eating, before bed, when you come home and as soon as you get up in the morning. Your crate will add to the success of this process. Crate your puppy when you are not able to attend to it and when you are away from the home. This will prevent unnecessary damage and injury to your pup caused from chewing, biting on electrical cords etc. Your crate is your dogs home and safety seat while traveling. Make your pet a pleasure not a nuisance. Your dog was domesticated for you, you have not been domesticated for their pleasure. More House Breaking Tips.
REMEMBER 50% OF ALL BRITTANYS ARE KILLED BY CARS, use your leash. Do not assume your dog is different! Brittanys do not look both ways before they cross the street, they naturally chase leaves and rabbits.
