"Chevis" was our first liver Brittany, from our first litter, My goal was to make his a Dual UD, which we were fortunate enough to achieve, but I could not have done it with out all the help from our fellow Brittany owners. Chevis won his puppy points at the first trial he entered under the whistle of Marc Appleton, his first adult win was under the whistle of Ron Stevenson, but all his adult placements came from the Nickences. I was fortunate to be able to see most of Chevis's wins which made me appreciate him all the more. His show title with Teresa Richmond, Linda Franklin, and Debbie Melgren, but I did put all his obedience titles on him, finishing his UD at the tender age of 11 years, 11 months! Cheivs may have been a Jack of all Trades, but I look at it as a tribute to his temperament that he would work for numerous people and complete any task asked of him. He was one hell of a gun dog, seldom birdless no matter the conditions. He made me so proud.
